This appears be the exact quote which is reasonable in my opinion:

Am I think only one who keeps thinking of Isaac Yankem when reading the name Isaac Yiadom?

Interesting, thought he had an offer. I wonder if he was one pending getting some test score or something like that.

He was recruited by Brown when he was at UConn. He is coming in as a CB... not a safety or WR.

http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/high-school/post/_/id/23593/dohertys-yiadom-commits-to-boston-college

ESPN Boston article on Yiadom's commitment.

Also, the end of the article lists BC's offers out in MA and includes QB/ATH Miles Wright. This seems to be the first indication from anywhere we've offered him, and I'm not sure I believe it. I actually think Wrigth would be a good second QB in this class with someone like Ulmer/Wade and I think offering him makes sense, I just don't think we've done so already.

Unless we are offering Wright more as an ATH than a QB.

Again... has anyone heard anything about Flutie? Has BC shown any interest???

Watching his limited film, I think that's a good decision.

I love the film on Figaro -- even more than Yiadom. With our DB's being such a soft spot in recent years, these gets together would make me very happy.

Between the fact that we're going to be playing more DBs than we previously did along with the fact that we're going to be asking them to do a lot more, DB is an area where you'd think players can come in and play immediately.

Daziani has a shit-ton of ships to use this year. I say offer as many legit D1 prospects as you can. With his stated goal of making a bowl game (which I think is realistic based on talent and schedule), he should receive some positive press as the season goes on (which should allow him to recruit effectively all year long... which is what you need to do to have a chance at 25 recruits).

I generally agree but didn't someone look at our roster and determine that we won't have a huge class again this year? Obviously there are a lot of moving parts in terms of roster makeup between now and then, but I vaguely remember seeing that it's unlikely we'll have a full 25 person class.

Yes, BC has shown interest in Flutie and a couple of his teammates. No offer yet, though, I don't think.

Every time someone looks at our roster and predicts what we can offer, they've been wrong. We took only 15 last year and 17 the year before. We can go 25 if the value is there. We'll likely end around 22.

Btw... I see the name Chase Gianacakos floating around. Is he any relation to Nick? I believe they are both from Illinois (Nick was from Naperville if memory serves).

By the sounds of it (and according to Twitter), Outlow and Yiadom are now working hard recruiting other MA prospects to BC. Lubern Figaro sounds like he is keen to become an Eagle.

yeah, but it feels so much better to be competing with Ohio State for recruits instead of Ohio

Andre Williams
Chase Rettig
Mike Marscovetra
Nate Freese

Only guys I can think of to add are Nate Freese and Marscovetra (if he is in fact getting a fifth year). Guys I think would be people to watch for not getting offered a fifth year are CJ Parsons (is he even on scholarship?), James McCaffrey, and Dom Williams

Jonathan Hilliman announced his top 10 of OSU, Michigan, Bama, Rutgers, Stanford, Georgia, Oregon, BC, Arkansas, and Vandy. His top 1 and 2 are OSU and Michigan. He'll be taking another unofficial to BC but I'm not holding my breath here. He'd obviously be a great addition but we seem to be in considerably better shape for some other good RBs.

his quote on BC was interesting. Paraphrased: I had no interest in BC at all but the Dazzler convinced me to visit and is awesome, also my teamates from high school are there so that helped.

Just a boatload of recruits visiting this week especially on Sat for the scrimmage, Dazz is def putting in the effort needed to land BC a good class.

I have no doubt we will have at least a top-40 class which is amazing considering we are coming off a 2-win season.

Knowing nothing of recruiting, it's nice to read this thread and hear we're going up against big time BCS programs opposed to mediocre FCS programs.

Also saw on the twitter box that 247 has Addazio's 2 commits higher ranked in this class than any commit of the 13 class.
