Darren Sproles wasn't a big guy either. We just need a kid to produce at the ACC level.

Interesting that he deleted the tweet about commiting.. Sounds as though he doesn't actually have an offer or BC isn't sure about his grades.

If that's the case then we really have to be concerned about his grades. Kid can't even read a calendar.

He doesn't have any other offers (according to Rivals).

Is the NE Prep School league better, worse, or the same as the ISL?

I'd like to take 2 QBs, particularly if Suntrup isn't panning out or looks like he's going to transfer. After Chase you've got Bordner (no), Suntrup (who knows), and two true freshmen, neither of whom had a particularly strong offer list. 2 QBs, at least one of whom is a legit blue chip type player.

It is a little bit better but the NE Prep League teams like Taft and Salisbury have post grads.
31southst {l Wrote}:A few notes:
- DE/OL Noah Beh is favoring BC and Syracuse, though I get the sense we might be slightly ahead
- QB Caleb Henderson is visiting today. Landing a highly touted QB this class is important both from a talent and a generating buzz/a good narrative standpoint
- DB Lubern Figaro is supposed to be visiting yet again Saturday. It's been talked about how it's unclear whether he has an offer, but it certainly seems like we're in good shape here.
Bishop Kenny (FL) teammates Cameron Singletary and John Wolford made their way to Chestnut Hill this week, partaking in a three day trip to check out the Eagles. For Singletary – a 5-foot-7, 180-pound running back – it was an all-new experience.
“It was great here on BC’s campus,” said Singletary on Thursday. “It was the first time I had ever seen snow.”
The trip started off by taking in Boston College’s spring practice on Tuesday afternoon.
“Tuesday was great,” said Singletary. “They had a bad practice, but I was in Coach (Al) Washington’s pocket all day. I sat in all their meetings and saw the flow of things at Boston College.”
Thursday was much of “the same stuff,” but the Sunshine State sang a familiar refrain regarding the coaching staff.
“The coaches’ attitudes and enthusiasm,” said Singletary when asked what stood out. “They are ready for a huge turn around at BC. Also, the energy in Boston. I had no idea that Boston had so many colleges.”
Also on the docket was a discussion about a potential scholarship for Singletary.
“I feel it’s close,” he said. “Coach Washington likes me and John a lot and he recruits our area. He also coaches running backs so we talked one-on-one and I feel they are really serious.”
Coach Washington plans to visit Bishop Kenny (FL) in May to further evaluate the duo. In the meantime, Singletary has plans to visit Florida International this weekend and Kentucky next Saturday for the Wildcats’ spring game.
