He doesn't have the horses to hang with Alabama's OL. Nix is a great player, but he's only one man.

Wish BAMA would've run another play before the end of the quarter....why let ND's D catch their breath?? Can't complain too much though. Randy Rhodes, WE RESPEK YOU

The shame is that Pitt didn't have a kicker who could convert a 20-yard FG and save us from this.

This raping is so bad Bama may change its name from Crimson Tide to Prince Shembo.

And that the refs in the Stanford game knew how to call a rushing TD.

Oh shit... I just realized that if they called any of like 3 shoulda been TDs in that game, Stanford would've been in this game. That sucks.

I have much more faith in Shaw's offense than I do Kelly's. While Bama may have had 21 against Stanford, the Cardinal would not be getting shut out.

BTW... lucky for ND that Bama got that "let's make it close" holding call against 71 to halt the last drive.

Funny. I had just made a comment to my brother-in-law that Alabama may be up 35-0 at halftime unless the "questionable" holding calls start slowing down bama for the espn viewership. 3 plays later and(ellipses)

I heard it was a girl, but that information is unsubstantiated and was reported to me by people who were outraged that he (or anyone) dare transfer from ND.

As a BC fan living in Boston, this game makes me happy.

BC fielded its worst team in history and only lost 21-6 to ND. That tells you all you need to know.

ND is damn lucky this game isn't 42-0 at the half.seriously, that is what the score SHOULD be right now.

As for ND... they were undefeated and deserve to be in the game as such. Their schedule also seemed incredible at the start of the season. However, through no fault of their own, the schedule turned out to be a joke. Michigan, MSU, USC, BC all had historically terrible seasons. When it was all said and done, only Stanford was a great win (Okla was its only only other good win).

And they didn't actually BEAT Stanford, the refs just blew multiple TD calls.

Potential for some good late-game PR here if ND can't get on the board--last time the French were shut out was in 2008 at Alumni (the "BJ Raji bulldozes a ND OL into his own RB" game)
