the acc released the crossover games through 2024:

14: Pitt
15: @Duke
16: GT
17: @UVA
18: Miami
19: @Pitt
20: UNC
21: @GT
22: Duke
23: @Miami
24: UVA

The 2014 home schedule of: Louisville, Clemson, Pitt, Cuse, & USC is pretty damn good. Also throw in the UMass @ Gillette

Yahoo observations about the entire NCAA schedule:

29. Boston College visits New Mexico State on Nov. 9. Nobody knows why.

I'm tempted to go just because it might go down as the most obscure road game in the history of the program, but we are taking the kids to mouse world the week prior and I won't want to travel again.

I'm going to try to go. It may be by myself as no one else will want to do the trip, but I figure I'll stay in Santa Fe for a night or two and then drive down to NMSU. Why not?

If memory serves, it was their first game with lights!

While the consensus on this board is that BC's schedule is quite easy, this site ranks it the 3rd hardest in the ACC

http://www.bloguin.com/crystalballrun/2 ... dules.html

"3) Boston College – The Eagles finished dead last in the ACC last season. Not just last in their division, but last overall with a 2-10 record. It doesn’t start off easy for B.C., since they face a solid FCS program in Villanova to open the year before hosting Wake Forest on a short week and heading off to face Southern Cal in week three. The Eagles at least get Florida State at home. However, starting on October 12 against Clemson, the Eagles have only one game that they might be favored in, and that is a road trip to New Mexico State on November 9. It seems like another long season in Chestnut Hill."

When you are the worst team in the conference, by extension it likely means you have one of the harder schedules because you don't get to play your own team. I predict 5-7 (2-6).

Wake starting RB is suspended for the year. I think that Wake game is one of the most important games of the year. A 2-0 start would be really good for this team since how poor they have been the last couple of years.

Yes, because BC has never before been embarrassed by 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th string RBs.

That sucks.

So (for those of us going to the game) forget about waking up at 3AM to make the 6 hour drive, a 10AM tailgate? Nothing like drinking beer and grilling burgers at 10AM.

Are you going to be driving the in-laws house to the game?

I hope so. The Deville broke down and that's a long trip on an ATV.
