We should absolutely expect to win 3 and I think it'd be a huge disappointment if we don't.

Pretty good home schedule and we should be able to win some games. Expect at least 4-5 or I am very worried about the Daz.

Overall schedule:

Home
Stony Brook
Army
NM St
FSU
NC State
WF
VT

Away
USC
Clemson
Maryland
Cuse
UNC

Without thinking about this at all, this reinforces my thought that a bowl game is a very reasonable goal. If Daz is a decent hire or better(and I don't particularly think he is, but I'll give him the benefit for now), I think it's fair to categorize the games as follows:

Should win: Stony Brook, Army, NM State
Winnable: NC State, WF, VT, Maryland, Cuse
Unlikely: FSU, USC, Clemson, UNC

Yeah, I have always said that our schedule is generally so easy that any decent coach makes a bowl game every single year. Winning less than six requires a huge amount of idiocy, which is why even Spaz made a couple bowls.

Each ACC team will play eight conference games in football (four home and four away), six games within their division (three home, three away) and two games (one home, one away) with crossover opponents from the opposite division.

Did they drop the fake rivalry game?

They did not. In that grid the "primary crossover" games are all the same "rivalry" matchups (plus Cuse-Pitt) as before. I think it's set to continue, meaning a team plays every other non-division opponent at home once every like 34 years.

Yeah this is the shitty part. Won't be seeing Miami for a while

The shuffling of VT helps what would've been a miserable home schedule

The only reason for that is to keep as many Tabacco Road games as possible, without putting all such donkey programs in one division, and so that they can keep Miami and FSU separate, because Miami is teh super awesome and we want to preserve the annual FSU-Miami ACCCG that occurs every year and garners huge ratings.

I thought that the idiots in Greensboro had already decided that Louisville would just slot in where Maryland was. Meaning they are strengthening the already much tougher Atlantic and will force UVA to play them in a fake rivalry game.

What's stupid is that it would make so much more sense to put Pitt in the Atlantic (so we and Cuse could play them) and have UL crossover be Pitt and UVA's be Cuse.

rumor out of tClemson is that the ACC is in current discussions with all the member schools to realign the divisions into a north/south starting in 2015 or later. no word as to how well it's being received by all, but it is definitely in discussion at the moment. :duchE

That would be awesome. Would the northern teams be placed in the "Sheman Division"?

I don't know what's funnier, the She Man division or the Sherman division. All I know is, the SheMan division scoreboards should flash random images from Transitive * stories or the Photoshop HOF thread after touchdowns. Anytime a home team loses, the scoreboard must show Yogurt Man for a week.

Also... the first thing I thought of re: opening against Stony Brook was Ginger O'Jortsihan's career opener against Temple. Anyone else think Spazzle Dazzle will open with a loud and explosive turd in his regiment tightie whities? Also, will Dazzle be mic'ing directly into the player's ears? If so, will the players have to put in firing-range earplugs? Won't the opposing defense hear the calls? Won't I hear the calls on tv?

The Boston College football team will play six away games in 2013, as its matchup with New Mexico State will be played at Aggie Memorial Stadium. The Eagles are scheduled to travel out to Las Cruces, N.M. on the weekend of Nov. 9 to play the non-conference game, a BC source has confirmed to The Heights.

This gives BC two separate west-coast trips during the 2013 season, as it also plays at Southern California on Sept. 14. Additionally, new head coach Steve Addazio will lead his team to away games at Clemson, Maryland, Syracuse, and North Carolina.

The six games to be played at Alumni Stadium are against Stony Brook, Army, Florida State, North Carolina State, Wake Forest, and Virginia Tech.

Between Addazio and this, not a good start for Master Bates.
