ESPN.com national writer Ryan McGee looks back over the latest round of conference realignment and dubs the ACC one of the big winners. True, the Atlantic Coast lost Maryland to the Big Ten, but they also poached Louisville from the Big East, and McGee calls that a net gain for the conference. He also the ACC isn't done adding Big East teams, although a current member of the conference may not be happy to hear about that and what it means for them:
"To the people in Connecticut, who are up in arms over not being invited before Louisville, those in the know say hang on; your invite is coming soon. The most common reason given for Louisville jumping ahead in line is the academic issue that looms over UConn hoops. Once that draws nearer to a resolution, then Storrs is widely regarded as the next logical piece to the ACC puzzle -- even if it runs off Boston College."
