Because he doesn't come back to the ball. None of them do. Did you see Eifert on the Simmons play? That's a real receiver.
I think Simmons should have made that play, he came in with the wrong arm...but yea I certainly don't disagree overall though it didn't strike me so much on that last one

Simmons was as much of a disruption as the guy on the Amidon play. Has to be a catch.

The inability to just run to the edge of the field and make them run inside is perplexing. Just run to the outside jacksasses. This offense doesn't run the ball up the middle.

Well this game ended with the Spiffy and Amidon drops. The D can't stop anyone and now there will be no time left. Plus ND gets the ball and Spaz burned TOs.
