I don't care how bad BC is, how awful a coach Spaz is or how little sense it makes. But, I think BC wins this game tonight. 17-16 with a GW field goal.

Well they have never beaten a ranked opponent in the Spaz era, they have not beaten a team with a winning record this year, and they have not beaten ND in the Spaz era....so history says they lose, common sense says they lose and all indicators say they lose....so I guess that means your prediction comes through....or at least its nice to dream....GO EAGLES or

Is he going to fire Spaz in front of everyone? That is the best thing he can do for morale and it might actually get the team and fans pumped.

I've been saying ever since Bates came on board that he should slug Spaz in the locker room at halftime of a game and then hand him a pink slip, but a public pre-game firing might be even better.

I will be outraged if they show such a lack of class and treat a longtime loyal employee of the school in that manner. That's not the BC I know.

He's going to show Spaz's pre-game speech on the Jumbotron. What you'll see is the closed locker room door with loud banging and Spaz's muffled voice yelling "let me in"!

A little over an hour until the solo-tailgating area will be open. Weather is chilly today.

I have to say, I am extremely envious of those who will be on campus for tailgating and the game.

Someone please post pics of the tailgate and from inside the stadium.

Seriously, what if this has all been done in secret and Jags is getting ready to lead the team out onto the field?? Alumni (well, the 50% rooting for BC) would go nuts

Also, one of my favorite thigns about Jags was how much the French fans hated him.....in fact if I'm not mistaken ND Nation posters were the first to call him "Jiggsie" and it was only later that the Merrymen adopted it like the cowards they are.
