With Amidon and Rettig both being juniors, it's not hard to envision you guys having a legitimate top 30 offense next year with actual coaching. There's plenty of talent everywhere, except on the OL. The defense is going to take time to improve. You can't coach speed.

The pass protection has been pretty good. The run blocking could improve, especially since Notre Dame is focused on the pass. 4-5 yard runs would set up the play-action pass nicely (Pitt used PA passes successfully against the Irish last week).

The pass protection has been good because they are running plays that allow the pass rush in, screens. They are good at that.
