If the ACC is bringing in 17 million per year and ND is only getting 15 million per year now from their TV contract, then i expect in 2015 after 3 more years of Irish futility the gap will widen. And that's not even factoring in the additional gap due to Orange Bowl money (possibly neutralized if ND signs on there) and playoff money.

it's only a matter of time before financially they are forced to join a BCS conference. it's quite clear that 1) they do not want to be with the mouthbreathers in the Big12 and 2) they are a poor fit in the State school laden Big10. thus, i fully expect them to join the ACC as the 15th member in the very near future.
