Miami has two unsavoury choices, a QB from the U of Memphis recovering from surgery, and Morris. I don't think either one of them could play for BC. BC probably has 3 QBs on their roster right now (Rettig, Bordner, and Suntrup) that are all better than what Miami is left with. BC will be much too strong a team defensively (particularly at home) for a rookie QB to shine in his opener.

Coach Cushion has made a career out of creating defenses that get torched by QBs that could not play for BC. Just sayin is all.

The cushion is perfect for Jacory Harris. His accuracy rating should be a 0.

We're going to get waxed by Miami unless their new QB sucks as bad as Harris.

Their new QB is not a BCS QB. He's UMass level.

wtf are you talking about nospace

Go back and re-read the serious seasonal expectation thread. You will learn all you need to know about Miami's QB situation.

It is not good for Miami.

you didn't give reasons you just said they suck.

this season is going to be the season for the ACC of the haves and the have-nots. Miami (this year) HAS NOT. They are depending on a 5-star true frosh 17 year old DB to save them. The team was lousy last year, and almost ALL the players that could play last year, are gone.

You don't even have your facts straight about Miami's QBs. As far as your opinion goes, you have no basis for it.

I like how he combined Morris (the one with the back injury) and Williams (the Memphis transfer) into one guy.

I think there is a gross overestimation of the U. They suck, so do we...I think it will be close, with us fucking something up in order to "give" the game away.

I got a chick fired from Cheers. Never been though. :pickle

Even though Miami isn't very good - neither are we so beating them would be a good sign in Spaz' Drive for Five (the five win season that gets him a fifth year at the helm.)

Best time of year to visit Boston is September, I say, so good timing for the Miami fans.

I'm sure there's a thread for this, but IB please get rid of the kid on the signature. It's so very.... sandusky.

Morris is very similar to last years opening week starting QB, Kain Coulter. Not a great arm, but athletic. Coulter did exactly what you're supposed to do, he took everything the cushion gave him and didn't force anything down field. Ands anytime the DB's stepped forward, he tucked it and ran by them. Morris will obliterate the cushion with this much time to prepare, just like Coulter did. Book it.

Nope. As anyone who watched The Wire knows, when you get caught up in the game and get got, they never catch the guy that got you.

I'd also like to say that I enjoyed the death threats from U fans in the bygone glory days of EI. I always pictured some angry little Long Island Hebrews banging away at their computer in apopleptic rage at the thought I was desecrating the memory of a thuggish gang banger who had zero chance of playing a down in the NFL. I wanted to explain to Maury, Herschel and Ronald that unless they were flying in their cousin Yitzahk from Tel Aviv, there was little chance of them or anyone they knew visiting any violence on my person.

They asked for comment, but I was too busy building IEDs for the inauguration. But if I had given a comment it would just be that, like I said in Bryan Pats Dead and Loving It, he was a punk who got caught up in the game and got got.
