Longest offseason ever because the season ended so early without a bowl game? Or longest offseason ever because of all the embarrassing news surrounding the program? Take your pick. I can't remember being less interested in an upcoming football season.

I'll have to agree here. Unless Spaz changes the way he coaches, this is going to get ugly.

I'm hoping that we are all going to be pleasantly surprised with this season. But I am expecting an epic disaster.

6-6 is an epic disaster?

I'm predicting 6-6 because I am eternally the optomist. At 6-6, I would be pleasantly surprised. As a BC fan, I refuse to predict anything less than 6-6.

No, 6-6 is not an epic disaster.

Gotcha. Although it would be if it allows for the bocce twins to remain at my alma mater for longer.

My sister in law just bought me Clemson tix, I had to stifle my groan and not let her know my Stub-Hub plans.

As much as I want to go 10-2 I would probably still hate Spaz/Gene if they did and chalk it up to the new hires.

That's exactly what I was thinking. 6-7 wins and a Shreveport Bowl invite is the worst case scenario.

Worst case scenario is that BC goes 7-5 and the ACC is mired in mediocrity except for two teams that get to the BCS. Then the Sun Bowl takes BC for TV.

Spaz and Flip stick around AND the media talks about how Flip showed those bloggers who knows more about football.

I think the worst case scenario is BC going 2-10, and Gene stays and (as a result) Spaz stays. That would be "the worst."
