Nice post. Richardson is disguising his talent well to lay low for the playoffs.

Would compensation include an office in Browns Stadium for dad?

Ho hum.... Same old stuff.
Polly another guy who gets canned in 2 - 3 years when we draft another QB who ends up sucking.

What were Bill's fan thoughts on him while there?

We liked him. Mario Williams got back to form and guys like Leodis McKelvin went from "aw jeez" to "eh, not bad." We got a crazy amount of sacks which has been sadly lacking in recent years.

That said, if I'm a browns fan I'm not jumping for joy. I lived in Cleveland during the Schottenheimer/Carson/Belichick years, and Pettine might get them back to that level (cold comfort, I know).

I was reading an interesting defense of Tim Couch. That given his teammates (the NFL overreacted to Jax and Carolina) his rookie numbers were actually good and that when you see a QB with over 60% completion but underwater TD/INT ratio, those are shitty receivers.

The writer said that if it weren't for injuries he would have been a perfectly adequate NFL QB.

Well if your franchised is this bad, asking people on twitter what to do can't make it any worse....can it?

I believe a mysterious former poster here - and, if I recall correctly, longtime Browns fan - uses a Twitter machine. Yes, it could get worse.

The Browns are going to score a lot though. Josh Gordon is sick.

It has not, nor will it ever matter who the Browns draft. The truth is whoever we draft is certain to suck, so Manziel is doomed. Cousin Vinny has set the over/under on his 1st official Cleveland QB serenade ("He's an Fucking Bum, put Hoyer in) as Sept 14th, at 2:15 PM

And on cue there's stories today that Gordon failed another drug test and will be done for the season, pending any appeal.
