Well... we beat the MAC for a RB today... so EA is going to call it a push.

While Warren Harding is annually one of Ohio's top programs, last year was a disaster on and off the field. Tailback LeShun Daniels performed at a high level under tough circumstances and is one to watch.
Although 2011 was not one of the finest seasons at storied Warren Harding, the program remains one of the best in Ohio. Senior tailback LeShun Daniels stood strong last season and college recruiters are starting to notice.
Daniels, 6-foot, 217-pounds, is the son of former Ohio State lineman LeShun Daniels SR., so he has the bloodlines to succeed. The younger Daniels, who rushed for over 900 yards last season, currently holds three offers.
"Things are starting to pick and I have offers from Akron, Bowling Green and Boston College," Daniels stated. "Coach (Jim) Bollman knew me when he was at Ohio State, so he remembered me when he went to Boston College. I'm considering all schools right now, and I'm open to everybody. I'm relieved that I'm now getting offers."
"I've had coaches from Ohio State, Michigan State, Purdue, Penn State and Michigan in the school," he added. "I'm in the process of trying to put a schedule together for this summer to get out and see a few schools. I want to get out to a lot of camps."
Daniels has added 12 pounds of muscle in the off-season, while keeping his speed. He is a player to watch this season in Ohio.

Cincy offer according to Scout, which should put him in the upper 25% of our class come signing day

I still don't see the Cinci offer listed, but either way it doesn't drastically change my perception of Daniels. I think either Tapscott or he would be fine as a second back in the class, but that's clearly not the case. Nevertheless, at least both are FBS talents and hopefully one of the two will develop. Also, I can't believe that Spaz has lowered the bar so far that I'm legitimately talking myself into players whose best offers are from the MAC.

Where do you see the cincy offer? it's not on his page.

HJS wrote:Good thing GDF made the tough move by promoting Spaz (who Farrell claimed was the best recruiter of anyone expressing interest) to continue Jags/TOB success instead of doing the easy route and hiring an unproven flash-in-the-pan coach like Mike London.

NJM89 wrote:Definitely an upgrade over Tapscott basing it off his film. Tapscott did look good but he was just way too small and not a breakaway burner that running backs his size that succeed. Good luck to Josh wherever he ends up but this Daniels kid got some good size and speed. Not satisfied though we still need a premier back in this class.

Any one of these is excusable in a vacuum, but together they're a disaster. The worst part is I think Gene is the only person surprised by how hard it is to recruit with a 66 year old coach who has gotten worse every year he's been an HC.
