Addazio has already been to one of the top high schools for d1 talent in New England. That is one more time than Spaz ever went.

At least recruiting should be a bit more exciting considering he will at least go after guys who have other BCS offers.

Daniels committed to Iowa tough loss but we should be fine at RB I think we're going to have a RB class of Willis,Coppet,and Davis. Daniels was the bruiser we needed though.

Be fair, kids decommit from schools all the time after coaches change. I'm sure the kicker wasnt his key focus and and Daniels had plenty of reasons.

Bollman was his big recruiter and he left plus Iowa's lead rusher transfered.

From twitter. I have a feeling this commit will happen soon. The St. Thomas Aquinas coaching staff doesnt like its players to take visits during the season and STA won their state title last night so the timing should work out well with Daniels dropping.

From what I understand, he is waiting for a bigger offer. If none come his way, he'll probably commit.

I don't think the talent level is as bad as most here think.
DL/OL/secondary need work but the OL situation can be greatly improved with technique/good coaching. Secondary can be fixed with putting the players in a position to be successful..

DL needs a serious talent upgrade. This is one position that you cannot coach in my opinion.

Oh yeah, already forgot about him and I don't really blame Daz for that de-commit. The Daniels de-commit is very bad. He was probably our most important commit to keep.

I think he is a 2014 QB so Dazz isn't recruiting a third QB in this years class.

Daniels was always down to Iowa and BC. BC offered before Iowa though, and he committed to us. He was VERY under the radar because his team "which was a usual powerhouse" sucked his junior year and he didn't receive all of the carries.

Julian is a 2013 QB so he would be the 3rd in this class. Had offer from Arizona according to rivals and Cincy according to 247, but the rest are the kind of offers that would have attracted to him.

Mack Lowrie, who I think is better than Boyle based on film is definitely the mold of a dual-threat quarterback. Rather use that on an offensive lineman since we dont have one or a running back. We need 2-3 rb's in this class.

He's very hard to read. The youtube highlights don't really show much. He can throw the ball fairly far, but he kind of floats it up there. He takes awhile to get the ball out of his hands too, he won't get that much time in the ACC. I don't see him being the answer.

I don't mind recruiting another QB in this class, but we still would need an impact recruit....we won't be getting one this late in the game unless Daz somehow gets Asaintii Woulard.

It wouldn't shock me if Lowrie turned out to be good as I've read a lot about him suggesting he's one of the better sleepers in his class. You can't look at his rcruiting video however because the level of competition is horrible and he is just out throwing coverage in most cases.

Taking Julian wouldn't bother me because at very least he's 6'5 and presumably has enough athleticism to be moved if QB doesn't work out (WR/TE).

Kinda surprised by this. Thought BC was front runner for Taylor (as well as good position for his teammate Internicola). Obviously a lot of variables in regards to this class (3 commited WR already, coaching turnover, etc...) but still very surprised with by this, especially to Illinois.
