Why is this fuckstick being given a national audience?

His lawyer ought to be fired if he allowed this interview. Or he should quit if Sandusky did this despite the lawyer's advice.

Or maybe the two of them think Sanfucksky is going to make $1,000,000 selling his book to every single person with a Kindle?

You might be right. Only a dead lawyer would let his client do that interview.

According to talking heads last night there are another 10 victims in the queue now.Is it possible that Sandusky showered with more young boys than Jacko bubble bathed with? Is cleanliness still next to godliness?

So now McQueary claims he "stopped the assault" and did go to police.

http://www.cnn.com/2011/11/16/us/pennsylvania-sandusky-case/index.html?hpt=hp_c1

What do you think? Is he telling the truth or is this just an attempt to rewrite history by a cowardly ginger?

According to my 60 minutes research victims often start adding details to their stories long after the event, non factual details to please the audience, maybe that phenomenon applies to witnesses too.

Has JoPa been evicted from his university supplied housing yet?

It's pretty well proven that everyone fills in memory with details they assume happened, what makes logical sense, and/or what they've convinced themselves over time. To what extent is a different story. Our brains can't possibly remember everything we see, hear, read, etc so the brain uses methods of shorthanding the data and gap-filling occurs. There's an official term for it I can't think of now. :ugeek:

It must be the "convenient memory" the nuns often referred to.

JoPa owns his home I assumed it was university provided, he transferred title to his wife for $1 a few months ago just in case...

Help me out here, if there's an answer, but I recall where McQueary ever said he *didn't* stop the assault. I don't think that was a statement he made. Refresh my memory--how did his name initially get brought into this? Was it the grand jury materials? Seems like he's being shifty now, but I don't think it's because of conflicting things he's already said. Unless this police report thing turns out to be such a lie, as appears likely based on the PDs they've talked to already.

yes, but his widow sold his corpse to Jim Thorpe, PA or something and it used to be on display there until his sons had it moved back to (I think) Oklahoma.

I dread the coming onslaught of stories from sportswriters glossing over or excusing his abhorrent enabling. I also dread the extreme backlash stories from guys like Gregg Doyel.

He was a football coach for a long time. He did some good things, and he did some shitty things. The end.

You're dead on with the coming of the gloss over stories, it will be terrible.

Isn't it weird that this actually probably killed him though? I always find stuff like that very strange, like when one elderly spouse dies and the other just gives up and goes a few months later.

Yep. You see it occasionally when older people retire, too. Almost like they've convinced their bodies to stay alive until they decide they're done with whatever they feel like doing.

getting fired from Penn State, which appeared to be a school he cared so much about, must have been humiliating and heartbreaking. for a guy fighting cancer, i'm not surprised it was the final straw that pushed him over the line.
