How does one justify the difference in penalties between that received by Sean Payton for "bountygate" and that received by Goodell's boy, Belihick, for "spygate"?

Spygate was only a soft penalty because the Pats generally aren't great at drafting. That said, if I thought about things like this, I would suggest that cheating and not effecting the outcome is nowhere near as bad as paying your players to intentionally hurt other athletes.

Oh, and Goodell is Kraft's "boy."

Of course the Tuck Rule Game would be Brady's favorite... because the Tuck Rule is the only reason we know who Tom Brady is, because of a tuck rule!

twballgame9 {l Wrote}:Worst sting operation ever. Not surprising, since it was led by an angry Jets NFL executive

This was all started by that whiny bitch Harbass whose Ravens defense was so confused by a formation with an ineligible wide receiver that the officials actually told them DON'T COVER THE GUY WHO IS INELIGIBLE. What really pissed him off was later at the press conference when a reporter asked Brady about the Harbass whining and Brady said "Why don't those guys read the rulebook."

Harbass then decided to get even with Brady and use the rulebook on him. He notified the NFL former Jets official and then notified the Colts, who played along as well.

So if the NFL had planned this all along, wouldn't they have had some sort of undercover personnel and/or cameras watching the ball boy
in order to snag him when he pulled out his needle? If they had caught someone, ouldn't they have leaked the information the way they leaked the bit about the 12 balls?

The NFL has only officially stated that the incident is under investigation. Everything else is from reporters who have published information from "sources in the NFL". I have a feeling that the NFL is going to look really bad on this one.

Frankly I said Brady should have admitted it and taken the $25K fine a week ago. The rest of this is just fucking with an easy target.

Only a UConn and Rutgers alum would pretend the Seahawks aren't going to be trying to injure Gronk.

No Ray Lewis, it's not. The Mo Lewis hit on Bledsoe is why we know Brady. But I'm so glad we get to hear Ray Lewis discussing the integrity of the league.

It's worth noting that the Tuck Rule game is probably the only reason most people remember the Raiders are still a thing though.

"Breaking news: sources tell @FOXSports the NFL has zeroed in on a locker room attendant w Patriots who allegedly took balls from officials locker room to another area on way to field. Sources say they have interviewed him and additionally have video. Still gauging if any wrong doing occurred with him but he is strong person of interest"

So Bill may have been wrong with his weather explanation?!?!
