Well this is a gut check. Offensive play calling is cowardly. Need a big play on defense and much better third down aggressiveness. If Purdue scores here it’s a huge problem.

This is not on the coaches (yet).
Dillon has maybe made some bad decisions but honestly the OL blocking hasn’t been good.
Defense needs to tackle and stop the run.
Basically, the team needs to wake up and play.

So effing sick of these slow-developing sweeps. They never work against teams that aren’t mid-majors from the Bay State. Quick straight-forward dives are AJ’s specialty and what makes him truly special.

Coach script several drives in advance of the game.
At this point though, I think we’ve seen enough to know we need to deviate from the script and react to what’s happening on the field.

They (OL) haven't proven capable yet of beating the eight man front...or the 5 man front for that matter.

We know what we have with the offense. And the coaches. A drunken monkey could do better calling these plays. Another run, 2 yard pass to the flat, and an incompletion.
FUCKING SAD and it was backed up and now Purdue is starting from inside the 35.
