Well, two years removed from Bown, we can declare that the defense is clearly in decline. BC was run over, around and through.

Do you put Brown back out there after the pick or do you bring in Wade for garbage time?
That was Browns worst throw of the day and I think there are positives though he could walk away from. Or do you give more snaps as practice?

If you miss the first one, you still have the chance to go for it the next two times. So you give yourself two ways to get the additional point: by going 1 for 1 or 2 for 3. Again, this assumes that the offense is capable of scoring three TDs, so it's purely a hypothetical.

Our defense is not good.
We let a RB playing QB run all over us.

Another positive: Daz can't spin this well. He couldn't even keep it close.

Giving up 500+ yards of rushing offense is inexcusable.

If Daz resigned tomorrow or had some health issue I'd go to another game this year.

I have said it many times, this is what happens when you put an Italian in charge of anything more complicated then making pizza. The fact that we went with back to back Dago regimes probably is making it exponentially worse.

Is the myth of BC's "elite" defense finally dead and buried?

They got lit up by every team with even a semblance of a pulse last year & now even middling teams like Wake and this Notre Dame team are tearing us apart. It was great for one year, Brown left and now it's trash. Combine it with Addazio's bullshit offense and you've got one of the worst P5 teams in the country, on par with Kansas and Baylor.

That Kansas-BC home/home in a few years will be a true clash of the titans.

The D seems to play fine until either the offense or the Head Coach submarines them. The Head Coach even managed to ruin a somewhat functional offense today.

If you listen to the heinz hammer's press conference it seems as if we won the game in all aspects but the final score.
