Correct. Duggan's stupid penalty and Johnson not turning around was the problem

6 plays, 80 yards in 60 seconds. Absolutely no reflection on the DC.

Is it blame the players to save the coaches season already?

Thoughts:

The running back rotation is a fucking bust so far. And we can't pass.

Two plays (Keyes sack whiff, horse collar) were worth ten points.

Offense has no identity.

Worst two minute defense i can remember in a while.

Pitt ain't UMass but BC might look like Delaware by the end of this, the stats are getting ugly and bells will be ringing for BC defense next half

I'll argue if we can't complete a wide open 5 yard pass we're in some trouble here

And I will argue they scored in three plays dominant in spread option. Why pass?

These aren't new issues. They haven't been adequately addressed. Bottom line is that Pitt is gashing this D.

Offensively, Pitt has taken away the run. What you're left with is a passing offense that sorely needs the opponent's defense to be run by Donnie "UMass/UConn" Brown.

I know Murphy completed a pass to Phillips on play action down the field but it almost looks like all of there plays are run within a 12 yard box... There offense is tough to watch...Not sure why they got away from Rouse as he is clearly there best back right now. Defense is getting run over rough shod...

I keep wondering whether Willis gained too much weight to be the primary back and lost a step.

This game will be the cold shower for any low level bowl dreams this year, Pitt is one of the middle-of-the-pack teams that BC would have to pick up a couple wins to sneak into a bowl and this game will show how far away from being middle of the pack BC is. The stats will be humiliating at this rate (maybe Delaware isn't that bad!)

I think Willis/Rouse are misdirection backs who will have limited success when the opponent puts 8 men in the box.

We need to try getting the perimeter more'; we've had successes when we've stretched the width of the field. We have talented RBs that we need to get in space.

And what about simple passes to the flats?

6 wins would be COY stuff for Daz. This is the year that we suffer because GDF gave Spaz a 4th year. That said, the D needs to show improvement because it sucked balls last year and was supposed to be a strength. Next year, when the rebuild is in Year 2, I don't want Donnie Don anywhere near the program if he doesn't show something. Thus far, today is a lot of what we saw last year.
