Hopefully, Landry holds. My thoughts on Landry is that he has the requisite size and speed. DE is the hardest position to recruit in college. Whenever you find a kid who looks like he can one day play the position, you offer. SCarolina's offer doesn't surprised me in the least. Landry knew they were close to offering when he committed. My hope is that there is a reason why he was favoring BC and Duke over all other schools... and nothing in the last week has made SC a top 50 academic school. That said, SC still going forward with an offer confirms that Landry is legit.

I think he is a 4 star recruit, just IMO. Him and Outlow should be 4 stars

There is no doubt that already BC's four commits are very impressive. All four are the types of players the powerhouses will try to pull away, but all of our recruits seem to already love BC. Addazio is saying and doing all the right things and will hopefully continue to tell recruits why BC is the best choice in the country. If all of our recruits stick with BC, this could be an amazing class. The future is bright.

I'm more used to clicking on the thread to see which of our three recruits with other BCS offers has flipped to Maryland.

Anybody know anything about Landry's family background?? I suspect his father (or both parents) is in the military and is originally from up north, but that's pure speculation.

yes, but this site has 516 prospects ranked as either 4* or 5* players.
on all the other sites (rivals, 247, scout) the number usually is around 300.

I'd imagine his coach or a parent told him that wasn't such a great idea. Although, Clemson adds an additional amount of worry if the ACC thing is important for some reason (like playing local teams).

I like that we have him as a DE and they are recruiting him as a LB. I really hope he holds as he is sounding more and more like something we haven't had since Kiwi.
