Huge blow. One of three players (along with Brady and Talib) that they can't afford to lose in my opinion.

Huge blow based on how he normally plays. He's been terrible this season, Tommy Kelly is the better player right now. That said, I expected that to change, and now they have no backup.

It's a big blow, but it's not as bad as everyone thinks. They were playing a 4-3 a majority of the plays anyway, so the NT has less significance.

Aqib Talib is the only guy other than Brady that they cannot afford to lose. With a year in the system, he is allowing them to do so much on defense that they could not do the past 4-5 seasons. Even last year, his loss in the Ravens game before halftime probably made the difference because no one else could cover Bolden and he could take him straight up.

I thought Zach Sudfeld was going to make everyone forget about Aaron Hernandez.

Maybe Austin Collie will until he gets another concussion.

Watching Dallas-Denver (1st time ever rooting for Dallas; PManning is the Tiger Woods of the NFL) how do each of these teams have 5 better WRs than the PATs?

No shit, I have Demarius Thomas and he sucked today because Peyton spreads it around so much.

Anybody remember the penalty on Stephen Boyd a million years ago for pushing the dline during a FG attempt?

Thiesman was calling the game and called Boyd "a fudgepacker." It was hysterical.

It looks like Brandon Spikes is pretty pissed off. He calls his time with the Pats "four years a slave"

He is blocking every Masshole on twitter.

This is some premium trolling. Good stuff.

The Bills, of course, have not had the best success against the Patriots during the Bill Belichick era.

Oh, I hadn't noticed.

Is he the Carl Everett stupid kind of crazy or is he the Darren Daulton clinical kind of crazy?

Carl Everett, just a little further to the center of the scale. Just don't Google "Brandon Spikes Selfie"

Couldn't disagree more. Filled what little needs they had, especially on the line. Got an excellent back. And got a steal at DT

A DII QB in the second round? That's a surprise.

Surprise for the Pats. Not a surprise about that player. Wouldn't have been there in the fourth.

You're making that assumption with almost every player. It is football.

I'm not a fan of selling out the future, but if I were, I wouldn't use the draft to do it. Most of these draft picks won't have a serious impact in year one or two anyway. What were they going to take there, one of the innumerable mediocre TEs?

I was really hoping they'd pick up a tight end so they can be more prepared when Gronk goes down with his next season-ending injury.
