MF73-Eleazar {l Wrote}:LSU had a small-ish guy on offense recently, Holloway was his last name I think?

Darren Sproles wasn't a big guy either. We just need a kid to produce at the ACC level.

Trindon Holliday. He's the PR for Denver now. Never really had a position in college, kinda like Harvin but not as good.

Don't really know how much scholarships the Dazzler has to use for this class but this is something I would like to see.

QB (1)
RB (3)
WR (2)
TE (1)
OL (4)
DE (3)
DT (3)
LB (2)
DB (4)

Total (23)

We could really use 2 QBs as the position is really uncertain after Chase leaves.

Interesting that he deleted the tweet about commiting.. Sounds as though he doesn't actually have an offer or BC isn't sure about his grades.

Generally agree but I think that's slightly heavy on the lines. Also, I would like a 2nd QB (especially since we're recruiting dual threat guys who can play elsewhere) and Freese graduates so we'll likely need a kicker as well.

If that's the case then we really have to be concerned about his grades. Kid can't even read a calendar.

Just read on twitter BC offered Kevin Cohee (TE from Roxbury Latin), Chestnut Hill native and former team mate of Mack Lowrie. Other offers from umass and yukon with interest from Rolly, Cuse, and SUNJ

From what I get from the Krondis situation:

He never had an offer & his HS coach miscommunicated what was told to him. I just wonder IF he will get the offer now.

Apparently BC is in pretty good shape with WR Alex Huard and probably get a commitment if they pushed and wanted to force the issue.

He doesn't have any other offers (according to Rivals).

Is the NE Prep School league better, worse, or the same as the ISL?

It is a little bit better but the NE Prep League teams like Taft and Salisbury have post grads.

I'd like to take 2 QBs, particularly if Suntrup isn't panning out or looks like he's going to transfer. After Chase you've got Bordner (no), Suntrup (who knows), and two true freshmen, neither of whom had a particularly strong offer list. 2 QBs, at least one of whom is a legit blue chip type player.

Fair point that you can push a kid to commit when he has no other options (e.g., pull a Spaziani). That said, I'm willing to give Daz much more leeway on no other offer kids at this point because a) it's so early in the process and Huard is not in a guaranteed to be heavily recruited area and b) Daz is clearly not scared of offering/pursuring bigtime recruits with tons of options, so offers like this are not made as fallbacks at this point.

Most NE Prep league teams have a few 1-AA/D-1 players. There is always a big drop off in talent because most teams are limited to 5 pg's per team. Sylvia, Appiah, Amidon, KPL were all NE prep players.

A few notes:

- DE/OL Noah Beh is favoring BC and Syracuse, though I get the sense we might be slightly ahead
- QB Caleb Henderson is visiting today. Landing a highly touted QB this class is important both from a talent and a generating buzz/a good narrative standpoint
- DB Lubern Figaro is supposed to be visiting yet again Saturday. It's been talked about how it's unclear whether he has an offer, but it certainly seems like we're in good shape here.

More on Henderson:

Nobody is completely sure where Henderson is at regarding his recruitment.

We do know he was high on Michigan State but they now have their QB in 2014.

We do know that Henderson is high on Ohio State but they're currently pursuing Deshaun Watson and haven't offered yet.

We do know that Henderson really likes Virginia but they may not take a QB in 2014.

The door is open here for the Eagles to impress.

Cameron Singletary on his visit:

Bishop Kenny (FL) teammates Cameron Singletary and John Wolford made their way to Chestnut Hill this week, partaking in a three day trip to check out the Eagles. For Singletary – a 5-foot-7, 180-pound running back – it was an all-new experience.

“It was great here on BC’s campus,” said Singletary on Thursday. “It was the first time I had ever seen snow.”

The trip started off by taking in Boston College’s spring practice on Tuesday afternoon.

“Tuesday was great,” said Singletary. “They had a bad practice, but I was in Coach (Al) Washington’s pocket all day. I sat in all their meetings and saw the flow of things at Boston College.”

Thursday was much of “the same stuff,” but the Sunshine State sang a familiar refrain regarding the coaching staff.

“The coaches’ attitudes and enthusiasm,” said Singletary when asked what stood out. “They are ready for a huge turn around at BC. Also, the energy in Boston. I had no idea that Boston had so many colleges.”

Also on the docket was a discussion about a potential scholarship for Singletary.

“I feel it’s close,” he said. “Coach Washington likes me and John a lot and he recruits our area. He also coaches running backs so we talked one-on-one and I feel they are really serious.”

Coach Washington plans to visit Bishop Kenny (FL) in May to further evaluate the duo. In the meantime, Singletary has plans to visit Florida International this weekend and Kentucky next Saturday for the Wildcats’ spring game.

Nothing on individuals, just a guess at the class breakdown:

2 QBs
2 RBs (Outlow + 1)
3 WR
1 TE
2 OL
3 DL
4 LB
3 DB (Yiadom +2)
1 K/P
