Knowing nothing of recruiting, it's nice to read this thread and hear we're going up against big time BCS programs opposed to mediocre FCS programs.

Also saw on the twitter box that 247 has Addazio's 2 commits higher ranked in this class than any commit of the 13 class.

Tevin Montgomery was an 89 last year on 247...higher than both. But Yiadom is an 88 and Outlow and 81 (which seems low compared to the other sites).

I have no doubt we will have at least a top-40 class which is amazing considering we are coming off a 2-win season.

like all other fucking millenials, football playing millenials expect to be handed the keys to the kingdom right away. frank addazio can offer these recruits those keys through the promise of immediate playing time.

my hope is that it's a trend that can continue (unlike winning with golden's recruits and then losing when they leave)

Addazio was 4-9 at Temple (or 4-7 after re-reading)

DB Lubern Figaro is visiting today. He seems like someone who could commit in the near future.

From his tweet after the Yiadom commitment, it didn't sound like he had a "commitable" offer.

That would make sense here.

As a general aside, I have never understood how a team extends an offer that is not commitable. How exactly does a coach phrase it? Is it something like an assistant says you have an offer pending me running it by the HC? This concept has never made sense to me.

It's probably like "yeah, we like you, but we don't have any slots left. If one opens up, it's yours. We'll let you know."

Finally!!!!! We offered our first ISL kid today. I was beginning to fear that all of the wall building by Spazarelli would be wasted.

There were 30 or so recruits at the March 23 practice - the parade continues. When was the last time BC saw this many recruits come to spring practice?

Also many HS coaches at practices including Mark Kamphaus

LSU had a small-ish guy on offense recently, Holloway was his last name I think?

Darren Sproles wasn't a big guy either. We just need a kid to produce at the ACC level.

It's also not impossible for the kid to grow a few more inches in the future, though obviously banking on that would be incredibly stupid.
