Some idiot on TechSideline said 45-6 VT. We're not going to get manhandled like that but I'm thinking maybe 17-3.

I had to search for Raycom in HD. It was way past the porn channels.

No hd unfortunately. But I guess having Doc makes up for it.

HD television is not 1080, is it? I thought only blu ray was 1080 at this point.

its in with all the other hd channels for me - on the local abc affiliate hd channel... note that these are also past the porn channels from what i've been told

It's on the local WB or CW or whatever they're calling it. All of my other local stations have their HD channels in the 400's. Teh WB is around 750. Segregation.

We have direct tv and don't live in the south...so I think we have to watch Raycom on gameplan. I don't know why ESPN gameplan isn't available in hd yet.

Not for BC it isn't. We really, REALLY want to play them at night, and it doesn't matter where we play them.

I was wrong about HD

"In the USA, 720p60 is used by ABC, Fox Broadcasting Company and ESPN because the smoother image is desirable for fast-action sports telecasts, whereas 1080i is used by CBS, NBC, HBO, Showtime and Discovery HD due to the crisper picture, particularly in non-moving shots. Ion appears to use 720p30 over the air, due to its three other digital subchannels, and lack of sports programming."

I never read his posts anymore. His comments are usually way too long and way off base. And when several people respond to him, his posts multiply faster than Gremlins swimming at the local pool. He makes no sense, don't bother responding.
