AT THE 7 MINUTE MARK OF THE 3RD PERIOD THERE WEREN'T 150 STUDENTS LEFT IN THE STADIUM. BY THE START OF THE 4TH QUARTER THERE WASN'T A YELLOW TEE SHIRT LEFT IN THE JOINT. ONE GOOD POINT ABOUT BC SUCKING IS THAT WE NO LONGER HAVE TO DEAL WITH YOUNG ALUMNI BRINGING THEIR 8 MONTH OLD INFANTS TO THE GAMES.

I HAVE ONLY BEEN ATTENDING BC GAMES SINCE 1962, SO I DON'T HAVE THE KIND OF DEEP PERSPECTIVE THAT ONE WOULD FIND IN GUYS FROM THE ELECTRONICS PARKWAY INTERCHANGE ON THE NY THRUWAY VIA SUNY COXSACKIE OR NEW JERSEY WHO ATTENDED BC 20 YEARS AGO, SO OF COURSE I WOULD DEFER TO THEIR WISDOM. BUT IN 55 YEARS OF ATTENDING BC GAMES I HAVE NEVER SEEN WORSE ATTENDANCE OR LOWER SPIRITS FOR A GAME ON NATIONAL TV AGAINST A RANKED OPPONENT AND SOMETIME RIVAL OF THE EAGLES'. MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT: THIS IS THE LOWEST POINT IN BC FOOTBALL HISTORY IN MANY, MANY YEARS. NO ONE CARES. NO ONE.
