Removing names from jerseys is one of those cheesy things coaches do after a shitty season. Honestly I'm surprised Coach Slugger didn't do it as another way to throw the players under the bus by saying they lost because the players were all selfish and didn't buy in to his "system".

Apparently two pieces regarding costume changes leaked today.

The first is that Dazoo has decided to follow Don's lead and remove the names from the Jersey. This is retarded. In college, player names is about the only way you know who the fuck the players are. No one wants to sit there looking at a roster list to figure out who that new guy was starting at RG.

wWoudn't blame you if you didn't make the trip for spazoo games but as i said in the other thread, you couldn't read the names anyways so what's the difference?

Ugh! As much as I hated that we were putting "III" and "Jr" as part of the player's last name and the italics, this is worse.

The second apparently involves a poster on TOS who somehow got his hands on a new helmet... and it didn't have a stripe anymore.

Did he post a picture of the helmet or just post a rumor ? FWIW, ive seen pictures during spring practice where the helmets dont have a stripe (the decal just hasnt been put on). I think the traditional 1 stripe is fine.

It looks like an old helmet- has Riddell not ACC on the plate on the front and looks more gold than the tan helmets we currently wear.

The practice helmets haven't had a stripe on them since UA took over. The whole practice unis were better than any BC has worn.

I am available but I am so traumatized I don't think I can ever come back here permanently. The images of those goatse pictures is seared into my brain. I see goatses everywhere. Where other people just see an image I see a goatse. Its a nightmare that I can't escape. I am haunted by the goatse and I can never lead a normal life.
