I really hope that this doesn't devolve into another felony murder discussion.

NotoriousOrange {l Wrote}:Latest and most detailed reporting so far http://www.myfoxboston.com/story/226387 ... a-homicide

If that source is remotely accurate, Hernandez is screwed. Drove the car with 2 others as passengers to Boston and picked up the victim. At the end of the evening, drove it home with only the same 2 other passengers getting out. Motive: drug-related dispute involving mariijuana.

And just in time for punch and pie!

I guess the local news had a guy standing next to Hernandez while he pumped gas, reporting on that. No word on whether or not he was wearing a fedora with a PRESS card on it.

I thought Tim Tebow was supposed to prevent this shit! You had one job Tim, ONE JOB!!

For Hernandez's sake I hope he learned from Ray Lewis and remembered to 1) destroy his bloodstained clothes and b) talk about Jesus a lot.

They have a helicopter watching him drive throughout the Greater Boston area.

I agree HJS. Fox has been so far out in front, with such definitive information, they have a great source, or are duped into believing they have one. My money is on they have a great source. Hernandez appears to be rightfully screwed, and if he is as involved as they intimate I hope he gets the proper punishment.

Have they mentioned what bar they were all at? I'm guessing it's got to be one of the really douchy ones like The Greatest Bar, Liquor Store, Jose McIntyre's, or The Estate.

I thought that was the first shooting, in Miami. Maybe they were at a naked lady place this time too. That would narrow it down to The Glass Slipper or Centerfolds in Chinatown. Or maybe the really ghetto one in Roxbury, I can't remember the name. I think those are the actual ones in Boston.

I just hope Hernandez doesn't go on the run, because then they might have to declare Marshall Law.

Also, if I am Hernandez I am running for whatever border I can find right now. He is screwed.

My theory, though: God committed this murder and framed Hernandez, to help Tebow. http://connecticut.cbslocal.com/2013/06/20/will-tebow-be-the-patriots-tight-end-this-season/

2:05: ABC News is reporting that police arrived at Hernandez's home today armed with a warrant based on information that "he destroyed his home security system," and the cell phone he handed over to investigators was smashed into pieces. Additionally, a professional cleaning service was hired to clean Hernandez's home on Monday.

Be careful not to read too much into that. Let he who has not smashed their cell phone and home security system and immediately hired professional cleaners cast the first stone.

Innocent people may lawyer up and be "non-cooperative". I'm not so sure about innocent people doing all that. It sounds like he could do time just for tampering with evidence like that.

What would smashing the cell phone even do? Can't the cops subpoena his cell phone company and get his call and text records anyway?

Most of the time the pictures and certain other data on your phone are not backed up remotely. Also, depending on carrier, the text messages are usually deleted very, very quickly. Frequently too quickly to subpoena.

It's only evidence if it was involved in or recorded the commission of a crime. At that point, the game's over anyways.

A quick search of Legal Zoom gave this advice for Mr. Hernandez's situation:

"have a sex change operation to become a pretty female because no one will believe that a pretty girl committed a violent crime"

I can only assume that Legal Zoom benefits financially from referrals to Sex Change Operation Zoom.

If Hernandez pretends to be Transgender, will he be able to get himself jailed in a women's prison?

In light of the recent SCOTUS ruling that says that silence can be used against you if you don't explicitly invoke the fifth amendment, I could be 100% innocent with an airtight alibi and I'd still lawyer up and not say a word.
