So you are saying:

Eagles fans : Patriots fans
proud of cheating : proud of cheating
in the Bounty Bowl : in the Super Bowls

OK, but I think that makes me right.

Yes, basically the only difference between the two franchises in winning.

As long as we've cleared up any illusion that the team you support plays by anything resembling the rules.

Interesting leap:

"The Commissioner has authorized me to inform you of the discipline that, pursuant to his authority under Article 46 of the CBA, has been imposed on you"

somehow equals:

"You were tasked... to determine whether Mr. Brady should be subject to discipline."

I will be if they get caught. They are better at winning than they are cheating, but the NFL is worse at investigating.

Neither legal team has covered itself in glory so far. The Patriots effort at a rebuttal is laughable, bordering on malpractice. Anyway, all of this suspension and appeal stuff is boring. The NFL should just let Eli pistol whip Brady again and everyone can then move on.

The Pats response was absurd. Can't believe Morgan Lewis did that. Wells' report was well written, it just wasn't persuasive.

The NFLPA letter was well played

I like this image better because it means Goodell is Owen Hart. Only a short time until the Blue Blazer comes out.

More like not surprising since he's the one that put the jackass in there in the first place, and the penalty doesn't really matter much to the Pats.

I'm pretty certain it's the cheating, but nice try.

Yup. In this context it's a lock, stock and barrel admission of wrongdoing.

twballgame9 {l Wrote}:Kraft will eat the picks and the cash. The NFLPA will make Brady appeal, even if he had no intent to do so.

I'm not sure what else the organization could have done to cooperate, as they have no control over Brady in a matter like this - he is a union employee. The minions turned over their phones and everyone above them except Brady was exonerated, including Belichick.

Well, yeah, I didn't say Goodell was long for his chair, just that Kraft wouldnt' appeal. Been saying that since the beginning.

Well it looks like Kraft and Goodell have been seen hugging so all is well now in the NFL. Kraft does have some serious butt hurt though.

so you are correct in predicting that the owner of a team that cheated will not be appealing the ruling that says the team he owns cheated?

give yourself a pat on the back

I am correct in predicting that the owner of the team that no one can prove cheated and who pretty much hired the part of management that made the decision on cheating would accept the decision because he too is management even though an appeal would most certainly be successful.

Don't get me wrong, I certainly understand the need of the rest of the league to blame the last 15 years on cheating. They should just pick something that matters and hire someone competent to prove it next time. Because the last two "investigations" of the Patriots' dynasty have been high comedy.
