356 to right would still be a bomb.

aluminum bats and a big building to block the headwind

Make em hit it on the roof of the building and paint that side of the building green, Then you can move it in 70', like the red sox

can we paint it in team colors? maybe maroon or gold or even pink?

From what I hear, you're paying, so go for it.

if you mean i'm paying for it because it will never happen then i'd like to suggest that we cover it with graffiti type murals of buffalo bill, john oates and thee delicious wang himself (the one from brighton, not the one from miami, china)

This is what I mean by "you're paying for it"

Eaglekeeper {l Wrote}:The 10 and 11 win seasons were peak seasons for BC in a down ACC. Of course VT took care of business in the 2 ACCCG and BC fell apart. BC not only struggles getting skill position players, but also dlineman on a consistent basis. It's not just the stadium that needs major upgrades, it's also the practice fields and the lack of an indoor field. They have a good foundation in place, they just need to finish the facilities. I think BC could do a lot better in recruiting if they had the facilities. It's a real shame that BC will not invest seriuos money into the facilities now because it is inevitable that they will have to in the future. Why wait, let's get the benefits now, especially with a new coach.

how much money have you personally donated to aid in the construction of new facilities?

i give thousands of dollars to the school annually that is intended for the good of the school (enough people here know my identity and could verify that for you from the annual donor's list). if i knew my money was going to be used to build 5,000 more empty seats for a facility used 6-7 times a year, i would stop donating that money. its always funny to hear the folks that give the least as they typically want the most.

i think you're pumping a dry hole with the stadium upgrades. your time might be better spent in trying to amend the constitution and get your hero and king obama another 4 years of handing out to those less fortunate

I'm still perplexed how a "big time donor" who is at all the games can "misspell" Yawkey twice in one post, can attempt to compare a cherished Sawx organization adding seats to a hated University that straggles two jurisdictions adding seats, and doesn't have the basic knowledges of the red tape that the NIMBY crowds creates ON TOP of the painful processes that already exist in this here blue state. Or I'm not perplexed because of those quotation marks.

Permits are not needed from Newton. The football practice fields and indoor building should be located on the Brighton campus. The present location of the practice field could net $500,000 annually in parking revenues. When you do not have much land to work with, you have to make good real estate decisions and protect your revenue areas. Shea Field is prime income producing real estate.

Good thing all the whiners and troublemakers live in newton. Wait, no they don't... They live in the same city as the Yawkee center

This is the funny part. Only alumni in their 60s think Newton is the problem when it comes to building.

Question, in which city was the only part of the master plan to be completed built?

Looking at that picture leads me to a question. Will we have to change the ACC logo on the field due to the new "branding" by the ACC? Because that could, you know, be expensive.

clearly, after all this talk of eaglekeepers donations:

eaglekeeper = 81eagle - bigfronttail + obsession with adding 5000 alumni stadium seats

What does Eva's cat have against slightly off-center video boards?

I think the problem is time/space and not so much money.

I think the only reason it looks off center is that the picture was taken at a slight angle. If you look at where the video board is in relation to the seats you will see it is right in the middle of the sections.

I'm curious to see how they'll do the wrap-around video board in the corners, especially between the north end zone and east sideline.

BC Hoop News is tweeting photos from a test run of the new video boards. The wrap-around video boards don't actually wrap around in the corners as I was expecting. I guess I am too literal.

Good point. That is the same problem Einstein had when he was developing the space/time continuum. They are really two aspects of a unified whole. When you come right down to it, there is no difference between time and the 3 dimensions of space.

I'd put this post in the same category with the Dr. Dre mis-attribution post.

BC is calling people who sit in the upper deck whose view will be blocked by the new boards. I decided to move over a section rather than have obstructed view seats.
