Not only is Herzlich on his way to beating cancer, but he’s also been one of the inspirational leaders of the Eagle defense from the sidelines. His teammates have won back-to-back ACC games over Wake Forest and Florida State to get to 4-1 and be back on track for bowl eligibility. The Eagles shut down the ‘Noles for most of the game, while getting 179 yards on the ground from Montel Harris and rare support from David Shinskie and the passing game.
