Well... the only reason he was ever a 2-star on Rivals in the first place is because he verballed to BC.

When daz / staff reference a smaller class, it's probably in relation to the 25-27 they've brought in each of the first 2 years

Ragan is a 2* and rated the #2 player in MA. Dalton is a 3* and the #3 player in MA.
Makes total sense

Another year we are going to watch the best player in MA go out of state.
Having said all this, the kid is a complete clown. Retweeting all his new offers from Rivals, etc. is ridiculous, but BC isn't getting to these magical 10 win seasons without significant talent. We still needs kids like this.

The only positive I can see out of Dalton heading out of state is that, at least for the first 2 years, Addazio has only used the TE position in a blocking roll, where losing someone like Dalton is not a loss. He seems to be more of an offensive talent.
That being said, if they can get a commitment out of Noah Davis this weekend, its a moot point

If he never got the Bama offer, he stays committed, never gets another offer and is an afterthought in the class where folks talk about how we aren't getting a ten-win season loading up on Mass kids like Dalton. Just saying.

Can you tell me who Drake is and why the recruiting letter we sent to that kid is inspired by Drake?
Asking for a friend.

Rapper Drake’s latest mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late has spurred on numerous jokes and memes, and we’ve seen various college sports programs make them on social media. Now, Boston College football is getting in on the trend in its recruiting efforts. Three star wide receiver Seth Dawkins, of Columbus, Ohio, posted a letter he received from the Eagles staff, which mimics the mixtape cover, reading “If you’re reading this, you should commit to Boston College.”
Well played, Coach Addazio and staff. We’ll have to wait and see if this helps BC land any new dudes over the next few weeks.
HJS {l Wrote}:And shockingly McPhearson sent his 3rd kid to a non-BC school. I will again point out that players/alums from that era still think BC is a commuter school.
That said, it seems like this recruiting season is going slower than previous Dazoo years.

BC shouldn't be losing local recruits to Duke
