Pitch 4 to Youkilis was outside. Looks like the Angels' constant pussy whining is paying off.

Love when umpires give a pitcher the 3-0 strike 8 inches off of the plate as if it didn't matter. Instead of bases loaded, they let Lackey off of the hook. Bush league. Might as well be ACC officiating.

That's the problem with America's past time. If you know anything about umpiring, you know how rigged it really is. The whole game is in the hands of the guys in blue 75% of the games.

How many fucking calls is this shit umpire crew going to blow? That's 4 screw jobs against the Sox now. Fuck these guys.

2007. He's been a corpse ever since. This Sox team is just too brutal on the road. 1 run in the last 16 road postseason innings going back to last year's Game 7.

If you're not keen on watchin the Sox then the Nebraska-Mizzou game on espn is fairly interesting.

That missed call at third will have more of an impact than the missed calls at first against the Sox. I'll throw in the phantom catcher's interference for good measure.

Nice catch Mike Lowell. This is like watching the first quarter of a BC game - the team just didn't show up. 2 free runs on Mike Lowell being a fucktard. And if he gets out of the fucking way, the call at third on the play before is easy.

That said, Hunter was clearly out - he came off of the bag.

Since the Sox didn't bother to show for Game 1, I am headed to bed. God baseball is boring when I choose to watch XFL and bad college football instead of Youkilis and Pedroia taking 8 pitches before striking out. YEAH MONEYBALL!!!!!!!!!11111!!!1ONE.

Wait, did your manager pitch both of his probable game 3 starters out of the bullpen today? if not, you are not as concerned as I.

Unfortunately I think you are referring to ol' Uncle Charlie and the Phillies. Not a good move on his part. We're waiting to hear whether Pedro gets the start on Saturday as a result. :o

Let Varitek catch Beckett tonite. Put V-Mart at 1B and bench Lowell. Let V-Mart concentrate on hitting, not catching. Let Tek concentrate on catching. Lowell looks 80 years old, he needs the night off. I don't care if Tek goes 0-5 with 5 k's. At least he won't hit into rally killing double plays like Lowell and make 3 erros like Lowell.

Looked particularly bad for Happ to come in, take a liner off the knee and leave. Happ's numbers vs the Rockies this year are filthy, not sure what the Phils are doing. Going to be 32 degrees in Denver too, Pedro's bones going to be too brittle?

Afuckenmen. But god forbid Terry Douchebag bunts. Enter buconvict to discuss Moneyball shit.

I love how one game where the Angels score by hitting a home run dismisses the discipline of 'Moneyball'. An anti Moneyball hitter would've hit that ball at Pedroia to make a 'productive out'.

The Dodgers and Cardinals are so laughably bad that I cannot stomach another inning. Watching the Twins try to hit is just as painful.

I have a theory that a sizable portion of Red Sox Nation is watching the 10th inning of the Twins-Yankees right now and not the first inning of Red Sox-Angels.

This is the time when people need to remove the homer glasses and give credit to a guy for hitting a bottom of the ninth, game tying home run. Honestly. It was a shitty pitch yes, but give credit when it's due. Huge hit.

It was a huge hit, no doubt. I just dislike A-Rod. He's been a d-bag for a long, long time. I played against him in high school and he was a dick even then.
