Interleague Play

Starts tonight.

I absolutely hate it. It was fun the first year or so but enough if enough.

Interleague play is awesome, especially for the AL teams. Nothing like fattening up on the minor leagues for a few weeks.

It's pretty cool that the Cubs are at Fenway for the first time since the 1918 World Series.

My biggest problem with it is the designated rivalry games, which add further imbalance to the schedule and have lost their cache. I think it would be better if they made each team in one division play the same interleague schedule. Plus, if games like Mets/Yanks happened once every three years instead of every year, it would help recapture some of the significance those games had back when interleague play began.
