I just fell on my ass in the ice and snow outside my house in the dark getting the mail. I also managed to land in a pile of dog shit or coyote shit but it was at least frozen. Its in the teens. Winter completely sucks. My car looks like shit. No wonder all those Russians are depressed alcoholics. Why anyone would live north of Boston or Chicago is beyond me. And anyone who loves the snow (because of snow shoeing, skiing, or the sense of sterility it brings) is a fucking lunatic who ought to be deported.

Just got up a short while ago - same old shit - cold, dark and dreary. Bloody awful - I agree about the 30 day thing as that would be enough to make you appreciate the rest of the year. Spring will be a godsend this year. I think its time to rent a place for a couple of weeks in Rancho Mirage or La Quinta. Seventy degrees and sunny every day with a beautiful mountain back drop and a million illegals to keep the grass green and the flowers blooming.

its unbelievable that a Div I baseball school doesn't update its web page for months -- still has 2010 schedule -- they start in less than a month!!!

Nothing about recruits either. If they did not get some decent pitching - this is going to be a long season. The current staff is going to get pounded. The new field situation is pathetic. Not looking forward to staring into the sun and melting in those third base bleachers.
