World Series Winner?

Postby Bryn Mawr Eagle on Wed Oct 06, 2010 8:02 am

Since 74 is still away seeking treatment at an undisclosed location, perhaps I can step in and ask for people's playoff predictions?

Maybe we should start with just the divison races.

Here's mine:

Phils in 4
San Fran in 4
Texas in 5
Yanks in 5

I never missed a game when I was younger, but as a Yankees fan I havent watched a baseball game in a month, hardto watch without the Sox pushing you. Time to start again.

Phillies win the whole thing. Other than that, stopped caring months ago. This was the season of lethargy.

Not from me you didn't. The only team that can beat them this year is the Rays, and they might not get there. Shit, they might not beat the Cliff ... er Texas Rangers.

Haven't watched a game in a month+ but then again my team hasn't been relevant for years -time to start watching again.

I like Phillies in 3, Yanks in 4, Rays in 5, and Giants in 5.

I don't think anyone's beating the Phillies - that team is put together very nicely for the playoffs.

I didn't. The Yankees were the overwhelming favorite, having the best record in baseball and all. I feel pretty good about this year but apparently Polanco has a hurt back and Wilson Valdez :bag is starting at 3rd.

Hmmm . . . looks like I am off to a good start. A little off on the number of games in each series, but I'll take it.

OK, time for the ALCS and NLCS predictions.

Phils in 6

Yanks in 7

I was off on the Rays - that team really crapped the bed at home.

I will say Yankees in 6, Phillies in 5.
