Robbie Findley is a disgrace...I'm thrilled he's fast...but he's unfathomably unskilled.

In addition to the fact that the US is getting dominated...Ghana is playing out of it's mind...

I haven't watched much of this national team besides this world cup, and I've been saying since the second game, we have NO threat at forward. we don't have a dangerous striker that can take someone one on one and put the goal in the back of the net. So frustrating!

Altidore is a terrific striker, but he's inconsistent. He also looks a little off. I don't understand the continual starting of Findley though. It wasn't a coincidence that their best effort offensively came in the game he was suspended for (Algeria). They need to put Hercules Gomez back out there...

I have seen HS girls in Texas kick better from in close and more accurate.

ADU was 6 miles left?

This is why Soccer will never be big in the USA....we can never bury teams like this and Ghana is all over us....

Plus the low scoring....

Muuuuuuuch better here though. They're threatening much more, and Ghana looks tight. It's amazing how simple life gets when you stop fucking with your lineup and putting out liabilities. Feilhabber and Edu have completely changed the complexion of this game. Had Bradley started these 2 like he should have, his team would be much more in the game and he'd still have 3 subs to use in the second half...

You don't want to just be satisfied with the tie here now...you want to keep pushing forward. Ghana looks like REALLY tight now. You don't want this to get to OT and PK's...then the game is a toss-up. Take advantage of the momentum.

The difference in this game - Ghana took advantage of their opporunities when they were one on one in front of the goal. They scored. We couldn't when we had the same chance.

Other than Feilhaber, the American team can't pass for shit. That is the story of the game.

The decision to start that stiff Clark ranks amongst the worst coaching decisions in American sports history.

If Cherundolo hits another shitty cross I might shoot the flatscreen.

And soccer is embarrassing itself at this Cup. Between the called back goals and the nonsense with the dives and the delaying, unchecked by the ref, the sport is an absolute disgrace. Almost unwatchable. If this weren't the US, I would have been watching golf two hours ago. You want to know why Americans think your sport blows, watch the World Cup.

Please...when you can't bury a team from Ghana, ......you want soccer to take off after what 40 decades of this bullshit...take it from me....Texas HS football will outdraw the US national soccer team....

Soccer was, is and will always be dead in the USA.

MUERTO....please..soccer is for kids who can't play football, or baseball.

Soccer is for GIRLS..... College girls...

This is America we play FOOTBALL....a real mens's game with girl cheerleaders.

Asshole brat announcers...how is the future bright for the USA when we lose to sub-saharan low population poor as dirt countries with 24 million people and we have 30 million illegal chalupas playing soccer every Sunday here in Fort Worth?

Well, soccer thankfully becomes utterly irrelevant for another four years. Maybe the US can find some strikers and teach Bradley and Donovan how to pass to their own team, rather than the other, in the interim.

This is like putting Swofuckford ACC referees from UNC in the ACC title game this December in Charlotte and ACC replay officials in the booh if UNC is in the Title game versus BC.

We play 4 games and win 1 and how is this exciting and we get cheated and still get the one seed and get beat by Ghana?

Please.

Brutal loss. Hard to not be angry about this one if you're a US fan. The same nonsense that kept getting them in trouble (slow starts, poor defensively in the middle) comes back to get them in the end. They were the better team in the 2nd half, but the beginning of the ET was the same as the 1st half...they started slow and made an atrocious defensive mistake.

In addition, Bob Bradley deserves a good share of the blame for this game with his baffling decision to keep starting Ricardo Clark and Robbie Findley despite the fact that they're utterly incompetent. Had they started Feilhaber in the 1st half, things likely would have been different.

Tough tough loss...think I'll go drink now.

And for the record, it is time for new blood at the top. The fact that Clark and Findley played so many minutes over Gomez, Feilhaber and Edu is a crime. Feilhaber should be starting and the PG on this team - he is the only dude that can pass.

For the record...Bornstein played very welll and lets move soccer to Alaska and make it illegal in all other 49 states.

Thanks for playing.

Fair enough, but don't you move Dempsey up to the front instead of playing Findley? What pictures of Bob Bradley does Findley have?

You certainly do. Findley is the soccer version of Bethel Johnson, all speed and nothing else. The US Soccer Federation should have given Jurgen Klinsman the keys to the castle 4 years ago. Bradley really is a shitty coach. However, the bigger problem is that the US squad just isn't very talented when compared to other top teams, which makes it incredibly difficult when playing top tier teams.

Their talent is good enough to be in the 5-10 range. There are a couple of holes, in particular the two guys in the center midfield and the second striker, but the rest of the guys are top players. What they lack is one elite superstar level guy to make dudes like Donovan and Dempsey and Altidore that much better. A Carlos Valderrama style center midfielder would be perfect. Please order one up. Thanks in advance.

The US Team's strikers have not scored in 8 straight World Cup games. That is UNACCEPTABLE. Hopefully, they can find some super star goal scorers for the future teams.

They don't need super stars. They need to start the right guys (the ones that know the general vicinity of the goal) and they need to play a more attacking style. Their best half was the half against Slovenia when they had 3 forwards.

Agree with most of what has been said already, particularly the indefensible decision to start Clark and FIndley. Something I haven't seen mentioned directly: What the hell was with Altidore today? He was running like somebody tied his shoelaces together.

Bradley has to finish that shot when he was all alone in front. No one within 5 yards and he lets loose a weak-ass left footer that a high schooler could have placed better.

That diving/crying/stalling Ghana was doing at the end was disgraceful. We got 1 minute extra time in the first OT, and then 3 in the seocnd. Four years ago against Ghana, we got over five minutes of added time because of their pathetic shit. THAT is the reason soccer will never catch on in the US. Infuriating that you can just waste time like that.
