2010 MLB Draft

Someone who knows more about this than me....

Is there anyone that we need to fall in the draft so they will not renege on their commitment to BC?

I'm not thinking we recruit those type of players...the cabals of the world have to worry about that.

I believe it was said that a CO P that they signed would be drafted in the first 3 rounds or something. And that he is likely to sign.

Pat Dean was drafted in the third round, pick 102 by the Minny Twins.

Very happy to see that the White Sox picked up Spatola. I'm a long time White Sox fan and had sent their scouting head an e-mail last week telling them to sign this kid as a great under the radar high character prospect. I very much doubt that was the reason but it still put a big smile on my face that they signed him. And I really do believe he has the ability to be something special at the big league level if he works hard and keeps at it the same way he did at BC. I tell you - BC gets some really great kids who are great representatives for the school and Spatola is one of them.
