How's Buchholz doing? Haven't caught one of his performances recently.

Joe Kelly on the other hand, is starting to look like a viable 8th inning option while Clay sits out the postseason Wakefield style.

Joe Kelly, 10.2 IP as a reliever, 1 earned run. Throwing GAS too.

Facing a high school lineup. Clay doesn't fare as well against teams that are actually in the hunt.

Fair. He had some pop on his fastball and his change up was working, so both good signs. But that lineup he faced is a joke

I'm good with him in the rotation as the 5, even prefer him over Wright because I hate knuckleballers. I just don't want him on the post season roster. I do want Kelly and that 100 mph cheese he blew Encarnacion and Bautista away with last week.

If things hold steady, I think Sox/Indians will be a fun series to watch. And I expect the Sox to win it.
"I have history, and I understand history, so I know where we’ve been and where we are, and where we are trying to go, okay? But it’s been somewhere between 6.5 and 6.6 wins a year since 1980, which is 38 years. We’re at 7..."
