He has a B.A. in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale and was accepted to NYU Medical School before being drafted. He'd probably be a more effective doctor than our current staff.

I'm pretty sure the Sox are employing Dr. Nick at this point.

It's Mr. McCraig, with a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg!

What is Dr. Nick's treatment for Beckett's pulled back-fat?

Some sportswriter {l Wrote}:CSNNE’s Joe Haggerty reported that after the Red Sox’ 5-3 loss on Thursday night, injured pitcher John Lackey was seen in the clubhouse with a Bud Light in each hand.

Did the clubhouse RA write him up? Are his parents getting a letter home? This is a / -esque "team rules" violation that actually doesn't violate team rules (per article, there is no clubhouse ban of suds on the road). If he was wasn't traveling with the team I suppose he's a malcontent, right? I'm no Lackey defender, but this is a joke.
Great rant, but you let Pedroia off the hook too easily. He's been a shitstirring snake in the grass since Bobby V got here, but he gets a pass because people think he hustles. He's a subversive cxnt who doesn't drink, which is queer.
Wow.

As I said in March (TIMESTAMP!) the team just isn't that good.
I don't see what Bobby has to do with Beckett & Lester pitching to a mid-5s ERA but that's just me

"aired their dissatisfaction with Valentine for embarrassing starting pitcher Jon Lester by leaving him in to allow 11 runs during a July 22 start."
Ummm...how about you don't embarrass yourself by giving up 11 runs?
I'm loving this, especially as my Orioles add insult to injury during this series on their way to the WC play-in game.

Let alone the fact that Lester was one of the starting pitchers who spent most of September boozing in the clubhouse while his teammates were collapsing on the field. Shut up and play, assholes.

I've come to the conclusion that they all suck. From owners to management to the manager to players.

I was at the game where Lester gave up 11 runs. Valentine is a clown but he didn't make Lester suck. Lester was sucking before Valentine took the job.

I don't blame Bobby V for what's going on, but he certainly isn't a part of the solution, either.
