I actually understand where they're coming from on this front. You have to eat a ton because of all the calories you use up, especially with the early morning practices. That being said, about half the swimmers I've known have quit after one or two years so we don't seem to have too serious of a program.

Not becasue my daughter is a swimmer, but this is chump change and you never nickel and dime anyone who can one day bring prestige or fame to the University.

GDF is a skin flint scumbag and now is a dis-service to the University.

I can see BC competing with class act Swimming schools like TCU, SMU, UT, UNC when UNC and Penn State offer full scholarships and the appropriate meal money and all the benefits of books and deals and BC gives out I WAS TOLD!!--half scholarships and no meal money???
