This would never happen. I'm almost certain that there's a minimum requirement of seating (3Kish?) in order to host a regional. That's why 2 and 3 seeds sometimes host. But yes, it would be hilarious.

Exactly. Plus doesn't a school also have to bid and promise X spending/investment? It also doesn't seem to be on GDF's radar at all.

I think Clemson has been to every College World Series for like the last 50 years or something absurd like that. Their baseball stadium almost puts Almuni to shame and just laughs in the face of Shea Field.

Clemson definitely didn't make it last year or the year before that. I forget about some of the prior years. But yes, BC's field is completely laugable compared to the minor-league quality stadiums that the other ACC schools have.

The poll is ludicrous. When I see teams like Coastal Carolina, FIU, and VTech receive a very good to decent ranking especially when they have no real history or basis for analysis it is laughable. Most of the information is generated from the head coaches of those teams and is based on inter squad games. I heard Tony Gwynn the other day talking about his team and he said that he would never base his expectations off their inter squad games.

Secondly, most warm weather teams seem to have decent stadiums and some like LSU are even better than minor league facilities.
