Disturbing. Brutal. Awful.

I know hindsight is 20/20, but what beady-eyed, flapping head Canadian thought that track's design was a good idea?

Truly horrible. Hearts out to his family and teammates. If this happens in luge, does that mean the skeleton guys are in even more danger?

Hey lets put up an unprotected seires of thick steel poles without nets or cushions so if someone leaves the track at 132 feet per second, their melons can get crushed.

Seem OK at first blush.

Yup, the length of a football field in 2.3 seconds and WTF could go wrong on ice solid as a rock?

Whistler Sliding Centre was among the venues that Canada refused to let other nations' athletes practice on before February, in an attempt to gain a home-country advantage.
