suarez is already one of the most hate-able players in the world. He has really cemented himself as the biggest twat in the game.

It's flooded down there in Recife....not good.

According to Taylor Twellman: There is no chance that this rain storm hasn't water logged the field. Problem is nobody knows because not a single soul can get there.

Given both of their positions and the field conditions, I'd be shocked if anyone overextended in the first half trying to score. I know that Germans and Americans are fucking stubborn as shit, but all this denial of collusion sounds like doth protesting too much.

It is not fun playing on a soaked field. No one is going to want to get hurt or overly tired. Playing in slop makes your legs feel heavy....(hopefully) save the legs for the next round.

I dunno. Lowe and Klinsmann are the kind of guys who would get lost in the moment and try to one-up the other guy.

I'd agree that on a decent field these two wouldn't play to tie. But playing on a sloppy ass field where one slip could be the end of your WC, I think they may pull in the reins a bit.

Putting Davis in for Bedoya, you have to be thinking set pieces, right?

If we lost 3-0, we'd have been in trouble too.

had the games been reversed and we had gone L vs Germany, D vs. Portugal and W vs Ghana, would everybody be trumpeting our perseverance?

I just think it doesn't make sense to be mocking a 1-0 L to Germany in the sense that it worked bc we had played so well the prior two games
