i like the move, after the injury to harvey the mets needed someone who could eat (ha!) 200 innings.

as for the price, i'm happy they set the market on that tier of starting pitchers because the price and years are only going to go up


As long as he keeps taking whatever he's been taking without getting caught, I have no complaints.

but agree the huge park, with granderson, lagares, & young patrolling the outfield will be a good fit,

interesting to look at his career, as i didn't realize that his only time in the NL was half a season a long, long time ago. he's put up a very solid career pitching only in the AL. Hopefully, park effects and weaker lineups will help extend his effectiveness.
