I lost. This was the first time in more than 100 years that an American didn't win at least two years in a row (McIlroy 2011, Simpson 2012, Rose 2013).

As phil stepped up to fuck up his drive at 18, I checked the bets and just slackjawed at the ballwashers. Pissed away more than 3 bills of internet money with nary a cent on justin rose. Remind me to never ask your advice on the ponies.

He wasn't making birdie on 18, even if he were smack dab in the middle of the fairway. Phil threw that tournament over 3 days when he forgot to bring the putter he was using Friday. Guy had between 8 and 10 easy birdie putts in his last three rounds and missed all of them. Even with the doubles on Sunday, he should have won by 5 or 6 strokes.

Credit to Phil, he went conservative and stayed that way. So it was death by a thousand cuts instead of the usual nuclear explosion. Guy is torture to watch.

And because I watched almost three full days of Phil Mickelson playing golf on NBC.

I got Mickelson and the Johnsons again.

I thought this was going to be a DLowe retirement thread.

dammit - i'm clearly not on the right page. i'd say with round 1 in the books it's likely too late to kick off a tournament.

if anyone else wants to take charge - go for it

now in the street there is violence
and, and a lots of work to be done
no place to hang out our washing
and, and i can't blame all on the sun
good god we gonna rock down to electric avenue
and then we'll take it higher
