masters wager

Postby TobaccoRoadEagle on Wed Apr 10, 2013 11:27 am

the golf thread me the idea. i'll grant everyone 100 imaginary internet dollars to invest in the field. chose your player(s) and how much you wish to invest in them. anyone selecting the proper winner will hypothetically win their suggested investment times the odds below. i'll probably get talked into doing something similar for the other 3 majors. good luck and go eagles...

also - let me know if you think this should be a PM contest, like the death pool. that way there's no accusation of people copying off your initial selection of mike weir at 500/1

i think 4 separate... otherwise all the losers that go all in on some jackass like immelman will disappear and leave me and teddy as the only ones wagering and nospace hijacking the thread to make it about some make believe person that he had a make believe conversation that resulted in him being make believe smart. we have enough of those threads around here.

If it were carryover, I would have kept those $2 bets. But no point in this system.

it will carry over - i'll just grant another $100 for each tournament.

for example - when duffner wins i'll have $900 to wager at the open (800 from this week and 100 additional) but you'll only have $100 to wager on the open.

how's that sound?

under the nickedin rule of asshats, i am likely to change the rules again at some point towards the end of the pga

One can only hope Tiger misses the cut so that we can get some coverage of the actual golf tournament on Sat and Sun.

ESPN began the noon SC by showing everyone of his shots of the first 3 holes. It is aggravating, but probably what the majority of viewers want to see. Their TO obsession, I can't understand.

P and S, I wanted to post about Albany lax becoming the second team in history to beat Syracuse in the Dome and Hopkins at Hopkins in the same season, but I couldn't find the BC lax board.

I don't see men's lacrosse being added as a board on EO any time in the near future. Only four fan sites in the ACC have men's lacrosse boards - Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and Duke. I must note that none of those four sites offers a men's ice hockey board and a skank board. Hockey and skanks have been, and always will be, very important here at EO.

Title IX would require more skank polls if a lax board was to form, so I'm all for it and following the letter of the law.
