Gongratulations Gabby!
I held off finding out about the individual results until about 3AM Eastern Time (used Tivo and I'm Pacific.) Went to bed right at midnight so I didn't get a chance to comment. But after watching her, it was clear, best gymnist we've had since Mary Lou. Maybe even better.

Getting rid of baseball and softball had nothing to do with keeping trampoline. Trampoline is not a "sport." It's an "event" within the sport of Gymnastics. The replacement for baseball and softball will be golf and rugby sevens.
In the Olympics, water polo and synchronized diving are both considered to be the same sport, because they're both overseen by the same governing body (FINA).
