I held off finding out about the individual results until about 3AM Eastern Time (used Tivo and I'm Pacific.) Went to bed right at midnight so I didn't get a chance to comment. But after watching her, it was clear, best gymnist we've had since Mary Lou. Maybe even better.


Too bad she's just a failed basketball player just like Jerry York and his national Ccampion hockey team, right Betardo? :quadlaser

exactly... also last weekend i was reading the paper (yes i like to buy the paper on weekends) and was looking at the medal results....

some guy names Dong Dong won a medal in something for china.... thats a hall of fame name if i ever saw one

edit.... gets better... i googled Dong Dong... he won gold in trampoline!!

Getting rid of baseball and softball had nothing to do with keeping trampoline. Trampoline is not a "sport." It's an "event" within the sport of Gymnastics. The replacement for baseball and softball will be golf and rugby sevens.

In the Olympics, water polo and synchronized diving are both considered to be the same sport, because they're both overseen by the same governing body (FINA).
