Not making the playoffs is way worse.
The one game playoff often gives us tremendous pitching matchups, as we saw Wednesday night.
I'm not sure if I could handle the emotions of losing a 1 game playoff.
BC football has me on the edge of a cliff.

The upside of it is that if your ace starts the game, you at least know your team went down fighting with its best players.
BC football is different. Any sport that is played against a clock is different because the clock often puts you in a position where you don't have the opportunity to run the play you want and that adds a feeling of helplessness to the post-loss stew of emotions.
At least, that's my take.

I'm rooting for Cleveland the rest of the way. First time I've rooted for an AL team since 2011. LA, Washington and Chicago can go to hell.

I though that fruit was hanging too low (like how my partners' fruit hangs low) even for you.

BC hires Tom Coughlin to be the new AD and he hires Terry Collins to be the head of baseball operations.

How long until these people from Chicago can stop pretending to be baseball fans and go back to drinking beer in the bleachers in blissful oblivion? Not soon enough.

For every baseball fan that goes to Wrigley, there are 5,000 Cubs fans.

Far different ratio, although it is much worse now that they won. Assuming the Cubs follow the pink hat route, there will be no actual baseball fans left in Chicago, since there aren't any here:
